RE/MAX Heartland, REALTORS
About Me...
  • Just because you're MOVING doesn’t mean your life has to STOP!
  • I got into real estate simply because I like houses. I knew I had the organizational and people skills that it takes to become a good agent. I just needed a start! My best friend let me list her house and that is how I got my jump start into this industry. I know how exciting of a time this can be. I make the same commitment to excellence and details to your home as I did with my first.
  • When I was thinking of leaving my former automotive career to go into Real Estate full time, I interviewed with my ReMax Broker who said that there was always room for 'one more good agent' in the real estate business. I have been striving to be that good agent since day one and will continue to do so because I like what I do...and THAT makes all the difference!
Why I'm an Agent...
  • I am in Real Estate because I enjoy helping people get what they want. Whether they are first time home buyers or they are 'moving up' or 'scaling down' it's a pleasure to help them achieve their real estate goals. I strive to find people homes, not just sell houses.
  • My marker for success is when a client gives me a hug at closing or perhaps a note in the mail. A smooth closing is all I need to be happy, but the extras are always nice. Client appreciation is heartwarming, and kind words and complements encourage me day in and out. This is what I work so hard for. I look at referrals as essentially telling friends and family that I will take good care of them. It's all about trust. I even strive to include their pets in my commitment to a easy move.
  • I have lived in Independence my entire life...almost 50 years! My family is from here, and what is more precious than family? I dream about living near the ocean one day but for now my husband and I settle for sandy beach vacations and feel lucky when it happens.
  • But until then, let me welcome you to the neighborhood. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I look forward to hearing from you!
5 Thoughts to Ponder Before You Choose Me as Your Agent...
  • Ask to see my references – It’s not that much different from a job interview. I'm the job seeker, and I am willing and eager to share my successes and prove my customer service qualifications. I'd be happy to provide as many references as you’d care to see.
  • Analyze my business growth – My references will provide you with qualitative evidence of my customer focus. Allow me to supplement this with something quantitative. Let me prove statistically how I am continuing to grow in a highly competitive market. I must be doing something right!
  • Analyze my market share – Like my business growth, my fair share of the market can be a good indicator of my focus on clients. I'm a strong customer service provider and advocate.
  • What about my behavior? – Do I return phone calls? You bet I do...personally and timely! Find out if I commit to action and meet my commitments. Call my broker or a few of my references for proof. Am I punctual and will I keep you informed? Absolutely or my job and reputation would be on the line! Do I remember important details no matter how big or small? That's why I listen carefully, ask questions, and am never seen without my trusty notebook!
  • Gauge my accessibility- When you first called or communicated with me, was I able to help answer your questions? Do I answer when you call or return calls in a timely manner? Do I work when you need me? How about weekends? Phone my husband for the answers to this one if you need a trusted answer! You bet I do!
